Hi all Traderji members,

This is my trading diary where I will be posting my intraday trades and some rare positional trades. I trade on Index&Stock FNO.

In traderji, i see many trading diary threads which educate & help other members. But i am novice compared to them all and started trading just before 16 months.

Reason I am posting here my trades is - forcing myself to follow the rules with much discipline by publicly posting the reason for taking the trades.

Any positive or constructive negative feedbacks are welcome.

Buy & Sell Rules in Delivery Based Trading..

Hello,

I have an question related to Delivery based Trading..

Suppose I have 1 share which is buyed on 1st Sept..

Now I want to sell that share on 10th Sept and on same day I again Buy and again Sell that share..

Make it very clear :-

1st Sept:- Buy 1 share..

10th Sept (10:00 am):- Sell that 1 share..

10th Sept (11:00 am):- Again Buy that 1 share..

10th Sept (01:00 pm):- Again Sell that 1 share..

10th Sept (03:30 pm):- Again Buy (??)

:confused: So here I want to know that is it compulsory at that stage to Again Buy (??) that 1 share to square-off the position before the end of the Trading session (03:30 pm) on 10th Sept.. :confused:?????

OR

It is OK that buy and sell cycle is end at 01:00 pm.. Further No Square-off is needed.. ?????

I am very very confused here..

Please tell me i brief that what the rules says at that stage ??

Need help to create simple AFL

Hello,

I'm required to have one simple afl to backtest few things.

Logic is

Buy = 9:20:00 ( Buy call should trigger for all script at 9:20)
Sell = 3:20:00 (Sell call should trigger for all script at 3:20)

Would anybody please write this simple logic in amibroker afl ?

Dodging After-effects of Corporate Actions

While trading is definitely fun and I certainly look forward to bonus/dividends/rights etc, strictly from the technical analysis point of view, all of the corporate actions are equivalent of hurdles that companies create on daily basis to obfuscate the stock's chart and cause us to mis read the trend.

One of the Remedy is to adjust the data for all corporate actions which is easier said than done. With so many companies, it is fairly easy to miss 'em.

Announcement file that NSE disseminates on daily basis is hard to read and mouthful with same phrases repeating over and over.

I am starting this thread with aim to enumerate all the possible corporate actions and how to go about adjusting data for the same. Along the process, aim is to learn the pros and cons of adjustment and whether or not you should save the unadjusted data in same database.

As a single trader, It is impractical to manage entire database correctly so we will focus on NIFTY companies only.

If you aim to keep your database for all NSE companies, it can easily be converted into actual full-time job.

Hi, I wanted to know if it is also illegal to trade forex

1) Through zulutrade.com as a trader who puts trades on other's behalf and gets commission without depositing any money.

2)Trade on demo account and teach others the forex trading and gets money.
