Sharekhan Mutual Fund confusion

Sharekhan has MF-IN-DEMAT to buy/sell mutual fund.

Can anyone please explain what is this ? Is it a NSE approved thing ? ....or this is a Sharekhan invented stuff.

Is it already in the practice ? never heard of this earlier.



Also in terms & condition they have a EUIN box to be checked before placing MF order..... ...what is it ?

Can anyone please throw some light on this ?
