All of my funds were always stuck in my saving account not even fixed deposit.

Then roughly 2 years back I opened my first fixed deposit got good return. Fixed deposit is still on but I am planning to break it and invest in market.

One year back I tried to invest in debt funds but my RM put it in mutual funds equity option without my approval... By the time I found out I was in net 50k loss + loss of any potential profit from normal interest...:mad:

Anyway I had no choice but to hold it so I kept it and fortunately for me Modi's win bring me some decent return plus some nice dividends... Overall 30% return in 1 year which is really cool... :rofl:

I had reinvested my funds from equity into three different funds equally...

1) Large cap
2) Mid cap
3) Balanced fund

So overall I was lucky to make good money but got no real knowledge in doing this. I want to learn trading so I will be in more control of my portfolio and will not be dependent on others.
