Has anyone worked out a method of exploiting 1 minute gaps?
They appear on some markets and are usually filled very quickly, on a 1 minute chart. The problem is that they are contrary and price can race away from them, and i dont know where to initiate a trade, 5 points, 10? away from the gap before it is filled. Sometimes they are filled a day or weeks later, as with opening gaps.
I think risk reward has to be concretely gauged as the risk can be a breakout, reward a very small reversion to fill the gap. i enclose a small example form the russell 2k a few mins ago.
